Dr. Anthony Porretta has been a respected and accomplished Ophthalmologist in metro Detroit for many years. A graduate of Marquette University Medical School, Dr. Porretta completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He was board certified in Ophthalmology in 1974. Dr. Porretta has been a leader in the Detroit Ophthalmology community. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Providence Hospital in Southfield and Chief of Surgery at the Farmbrook Medical Facility in Southfield, Michigan.

Dr. Porretta has concentrated his practice in cosmetic and functional eyelid surgery. He has preformed thousands of procedures of 30 years providing advanced surgical techniques and achieving wonderful results. He brings years of experience to the treatment of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration.

Over the years, Dr. Anthony Porretta has built a reputation as a warm, compassionate man trusted by patients and physicians alike. He has participated in the education of many of the areas physicians and has dedicated himself to delivering personal, individual care to his patients.
